I'm Rakesh — DJ RKay, a multilingual DJ based in Sammamish on the Seattle Eastside. I play across Historic Downtown Snohomish, the Snohomish River valley, Cathcart, Clearview, Machias and the Monroe corridor, and the whole approach is the same wherever the party is: read the room, blend the languages, and never let the floor empty out.

How far ahead should I book?
Weddings: 6–12 months, especially summer Saturdays. Birthdays, anniversaries and house parties: 2–6 weeks. Diwali, Navratri and New Year's Eve go early every year.
We have a mixed crowd — can you handle multiple languages?
That's most of what I do. Telugu and Tamil, Hindi and Punjabi, Malayalam and Kannada, plus English EDM and Top 40 for everyone else — structured so each group gets their block without the floor emptying between them.
Can you MC the announcements?
Yes — grand entrance, cake cutting, speeches, games and cultural segments, in English or Hindi. If you have a planner, I work off their timeline.
